Blyth Workcats operates from a 3.7 acre site housing a 14,000 sq feet fitting-out workshop as well as a temperature and humidity controlled moulding shop, a stainless and aluminium fabrication workshop together with a design and administration office.
The fitting-out workshop is well served by overhead gantry cranes and is equipped with a wide range of machinery that allows for the traditional craftsmanship to be combined with the modern construction methods we employ.
Our boats are normally launched on the River Crouch where Blyth Workcats has permanent berth space to facilitate final outfitting and trials work. Sea trials are conducted on the River Crouch and in the North Sea where all boats are put through a rigorous sea-trials programme before being declared ready for delivery.
Blyth Workcats also has the ability to work off site, on location, wherever required and frequently we undertake servicing of boats around the UK as part of our commitment to the lifetime support of our boats.
